GFY2 – Week 22

Y2Week22Thanks to an impromptu trip to the office yesterday, we get an earlier than expected look at my last week of work in 2012.  Sunday had an unusually high (at least of late) amount of activity thanks to shopping trips and a stroll to Starbucks.  Monday was a day off and, thanks to unseasonably warm temperatures, I was able to get out for a nice walk.  Tuesday through Friday were mostly confined to the office, as I tried to tie everything up before leaving for the year.  Saturday returned us to the now normal weekend activity level, but also kicked off the start-of-vacation cleaning spree that has left me with a clean and organized office for the first time in 3 years.

GFY2 – Week 20

Thanksgiving week is upon us, and got off to a typical slow start on Sunday.  Thanks to some unseasonably warm temperatures and a leg that was not hurting, Monday turned out to be a good day for a walk to the gas station to cash in some lottery tickets from March.  Tuesday featured a trip to the mall, which should have ended up with a higher total.  Wednesday had some pre-holiday shopping, and then the bottom fell out.  Three straight days of under 1500 steps, starting with Thanksgiving.

GFY2 – Week 19

Another in a string of disappointing weeks.  Tuesday and Wednesday were spent in the Energy For Life class, which did at least end up with one day over 5000 steps.  Thursday had a night of unscheduled bowling, which also pushed me over the 5000 steps mark.  Days off and weekends continue to be a problem, although Saturday did pick up a bit.  Hopefully, with a week’s vacation, the next week will be better.

GFY2 – Week 16

Good news and bad news.  The good news is that the leg pain, which I believe to be caused due to sciatic nerve issues, seems to finally be getting better.  The bad news is that my overall daily average has fallen below 5,000 steps.  Hopefully now that I can actually walk without debilitating pain, I can build that back up.
