Word came down yesterday afternoon that Cub season tickets had started to arrive, so imagine my surprise when I got home and found this sitting on my doorstep:

Inside the box were the two ticket books, a collection of parking passes, and some miscellaneous paperwork.  The tickets themselves have returned to a portrait orientation, and feature photos of all-time White Sox greats.

Among the players immortalized on this year’s ticket stock are Hall of Famers Luis Aparicio, Carlton Fisk, Red Faber, Frank Thomas, Eddie Collins, and Nellie Fox, alongside franchise stalwarts Harold Baines, Minnie Minoso, Bill Melton, Jim Landis, LaMarr Hoyt, Ron Kittle, Bobby Thigpen, Ozzie Guillen, Gary Peters, Paul Konerko, and Robin Ventura.

I did move 10 rows closer to the field this year, so I will be in new seats this year.  Hopefully the sun situation pans out and I don’t end up with sunburns during Sunday afternoon contests.

So, there you have it.  Another 27 games of exciting White Sox baseball, all wrapped up into one little box.  I guess spring is officially on its way.
