16 Candles
16 years ago, on my 25th birthday, my lovely niece entered this world. Today, she is legally able to drive. This picture was taken at Christmas 2013, 2 months after she turned 14. Sadly, this will likely be our first birthday where we do not see each other.

Hoping For The Groundhog’s Shadow
We ring in February with a shot of Angelina relaxing on the couch from Christmas 2013, hoping that the groundhog sees his shadow and brings winter to a quick end.
2015 Calendar
Now that Christmas has come and gone, we can unveil the cover to this year’s calendar gift made up of pictures I have taken throughout the year. Once again. this year’s calendar was produced by the good folks at Shutterfly. As in year’s past, we will unveil each month’s photo(s) on the first day of the month throughout 2015.
This year’s cover is made up of multiple pictures. First, we have all 3 together from our Mother’s Day trip to Brookfield Zoo. Next, we have Angelina and Michael in a shot from the Lincoln-Way West gym during one of Danny’s basketball games. Lastly, we have Danny and Michael posing with Bucky Badger on the Vitense Golfland minature golf course in Madison, WI, where we stopped on our way to Minneapolis last July.
15 (and 40) Candles
A double helping of birthday cake today, as Angelina celebrates her 15th birthday and I bid a fond farewell to my 30s and turn the big 4-0. This picture was taken exactly one year ago today, as we celebrated our birthday last year at her piano recital. This year, we will likely not see each other on our birthday for the first time since she was born, thanks to Danny and a band concert.

We celebrate October with a picture of Angelina from last October, as she opened her birthday gifts as Michael looks on. In addition to this, we have a look back through the years, with her as a baby, a toddler at Christmas time, on a trip to Sesame Street Live, a post-2005 trip to US Cellular Field, and, finally, a trip to the Museum of Science and Industry.
