Still Miserable

rag_pol_720x486It’s that time of year again, where the particles in the air forces my body to attack itself, leaving me a miserable, sneezing mess.  The season got a late start this year, as I was able to make it half way through August before needing to start taking pills to control things.  For the most part, it has been a mild season, but today has been brutal, probably due to my being outside for most of yesterday and today.  Again, here’s hoping for an early freeze and a quick end to hay fever season.

GlobalFit III: Week 8

Y3Week8Another poor week, with only 2 days over the 5000 step mark.  Monday was helped out by a trip over to North plaza for a division meeting.  No real clue about the rest of the week at this point.  Again, as pointed out the other day, my allergies are playing a role at this point of the year, keeping me inside more than I’d like.  But, at some point, that excuse only gets me so far.

The Most Miserable Time Of The Year

If I’m reading this map correctly, and I think I am, it looks like I’ll have to move to either Southern California or the Pacific Northwest if I am going to escape the yearly scourge known as hay fever.  Every year, from the middle to end of August through mid to late October, the pollen in the air causes my body to attack itself, leaving me with bothered eyes, a troublesome nose, and dependent on restricted drugs due to their use in the making of meth.  Here’s hoping for an early freeze, so all of the pollen can drop dead.
