FB4: Week 14
Thanks, in part, to 2 separate foot injuries, I just missed my weekly target, falling 317 steps short. Things got off to a slow start on Sunday, just barely surpassing 3000 steps. Monday had a nice bounce back, coming in at over 7300 steps. Tuesday was the high point of the week, thanks to a post-work trip to Wrigley Field for my first Cub game of the season, which pushed my just past 10,000 steps. Wednesday fell back a bit, falling short of my daily goal by just over 1500 steps. Thursday combined a day of work with another baseball game, this time on the south side, putting me back near 10,000 steps. Friday combined work with a trip to Lincoln-Way Central to hear Danny play his horn during the school musical for another 8000 steps. Saturday fell well short, despite a communion party and another baseball game thanks in part to a blister on one foot and a smashed pinkie toe on the other.
Total steps: 48,683
Daily average: 6954.7
2018 Calendar
Now that Christmas has come and gone, we can unveil the cover to this year’s calendar gift, given annually to my mom and sister, made up of pictures I have taken throughout the year. Once again. this year’s calendar was produced by the good folks at Shutterfly. As in year’s past, we will unveil each month’s photo on the first day of the month throughout 2017.
This year’s cover features Angelina, Danny, and Michael at Lincoln-Way Central following Angelina’s high school graduation last June. The main picture has the three of them together, with cut-ins of her hugging both of her brothers.
