GF4 – Week 9

Y4Week9The week got off to a horrid start, thanks to the Labor Day holiday and my allergies, which kept me inside all day and limited me to under 1000 steps.  The rest of the week rebounded fairly well, with every day surpassing the 5000 step mark, if just barely.  Saturday helped to pick up the slack for the rest of the week, thanks to a trip in to the city for shenanigans and a Garfunkel and Oates show at the House of Blues.  Sunday rounded out the week with my final visit to Wrigley Field for the year.

GF4 – Week 8

Y4Week8Overall, a pretty good week, though somewhat disappointing days on Wednesday and Thursday and a downright disappointing day on Saturday.  Nothing out of the ordinary during the work week, with Friday’s total helped out by some after work strolling around the neighborhood.  Saturday and Sunday included trips to US Cellular Field, although Sunday’s trip worked out much better both game wise and step wise.

GF4 – Week 7

Y4Week7Overall, a disappointing week with 3 days falling below the 5000 step mark.  Nothing too out of the ordinary for the work week, with most days consisting of a trip over to North Plaza for coffee and exercise.  Saturday included a trip down to Wrigley Field for an autograph session with superstar John Baker and 2 innings of baseball (before the rains came).  Sunday’s total would lead one to believe I didn’t leave the house, but that measly total was thanks to a trip to the Rosemont Theatre for a reunion panel between Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.

GF4 – Week 6

Y4Week6Another decent week, with an outlier on Wednesday thanks to a trip to the local bowling establishment with our visitors from ANI.  Friday barely missed out on the 5000 step mark, thanks to a busy day at work and a tremendously long commute.  The weekend was actually better than most, but still somewhat disappointing.

GF4 – Week 3

Y4Week3A good week that saw the entire week, sans Sunday, above 5800 steps, with 2 days well above 11,000 steps thanks to a trip up to Minnesota.  After a 4 day work week, I took the supposed 7 hour drive up to Minneapolis on Friday, stopping in Madison for some mini golf.  After arriving in Minneapolis, there was a 1.2 mile walk from the hotel over to Target Field.  Saturday included a trip out to the Mall of America for some more mini golf, a mirror maze, and general traipsing.  Once we got back to the hotel, there was some more walking to find a place for lunch, before another trip to Target Field that night.  Sunday’s low total could be chalked up to driving 8 hours to get home.
