The week got off to a good start thanks to a Mother’s Day trip to Brookfield Zoo. The rest of the week, minus Thursday, was also relatively strong.
Well, a very underwhelming week got off to a poor start, with the only action on Sunday being a trip to the theater to see The Avengers. The work week all fell within the 3500 – 5500 range, with Saturday having the most action thanks to garage sale prep, a trip to the grocery store, and a rain delay at the Cell.
Another so-so week, with only 3 days over the magical 5000 step mark. You would think Sunday would have been higher, what with the trip to US Cellular Field and all. The work week showed some promise, with Monday and Thursday being the best days. Saturday was limited to a trip to the grocery store followed up by some little league action for Danny and Michael.
With only 12 weeks to go until the 1 year mark, I thought it would be a good time to look at the overall goals and my progress towards them.
I’m a little off the pace here of hitting the program goal of 2,000,000 steps between 7/11/2011 and 7/11/2012, but not by much. I hope to make up the 3% difference and hit the goal.
As you can see, for the 5 month goal of hitting 1,000,000 steps between February and June, I am at 42% at the halfway point, or a little more than 78,000 steps behind pace. I am really going to need to pick up my game in order to hit this mark.
Finally, let’s take a look at the overall distance I’ve traveled so far.
Wow, what a week. The weather was tremendous all week, and, due to this, I managed to be over 5000 steps every day of the week for the first time since I started this 37 weeks ago. In addition to that, Wednesday was my best single day so far, with 12,644 steps. I was able to get outside for a walk every day, and sometimes twice. Hopefully this freakishly warm weather continues, and I continue to take advantage of it.
