I found myself in Kewaunee, Wisconsin this past weekend for the bachelor party of one Keith Longwell. While the rest of the group was sleeping off the activities of the previous night, I was up early going through Sarah Silverman’s memoir, titled The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee, which I finished in under 2 days. Silverman brings her trademark humor, but still gives off a serious vibe in telling stories revolving around her problems with bed wetting as a child, teenage depression, how she learned to enjoy the things in life, and her times on both SNL and her own self-titled program. She never takes herself too seriously, even as she addresses serious subjects. A quick, worthy read for any fan of her comedy.
