A disappointing week, brought down by a wasted weekend.  The best day of the week was Monday, as I celebrated the 40th anniversary of my birth.  The rest of the week was nothing to write home about, with diminishing returns through Halloween on Friday.  The weekend was a lost cause that killed the whole week, which I spent mostly emptying out the DVR.
