Now that Christmas has come and gone, we can unveil the cover to this year’s calendar gift, given annually to my mom and sister, made up of pictures I have taken throughout the year. Once again. this year’s calendar was produced by the good folks at Shutterfly. As in year’s past, we will unveil each month’s photo on the first day of the month throughout 2015.
This year’s cover is made up of 12 pictures, each featuring some combination of Angelina, Danny, and Michael. We start with the shot above of all 3 riding a camel at the Memphis Zoo from our Elvis trip back in May.
Continuing counter clockwise is another shot of all 3 standing in front of the famous ivy on the outfield wall at Wrigley Field from the Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Day conducted by the Cubs this summer.
Next is Danny and Michael posing with the Neil Armstrong statue outside of the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering on the campus of Purdue University following an embarrassing Homecoming loss to the Fighting Illini back in November.
Continuing a theme, we have Danny and Michael in front of a Big 10 logos at Mackey Arena prior to Purdue’s victory over the Illini in basketball back in March.
Our next photo brings us back to Wrigley Field for a shot of all three sitting in the Cubs dugout from the aforementioned appreciation day.
We hit the halfway point with Angelina and Danny waiting in line to get in to US Cellular Field for the retirement of Paul Konerko’s number back in May.
Continuing the baseball theme, we once again head back to Wrigley Field for a shot of all three posing with the embattled Clark the Cub mascot.
Our next shot again features all 3 kids, this time posing in front of a car display outside Elvis Presley’s childhood home in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Our final Wrigley Field shot features all 3 with the iconic centerfield scoreboard in the background.
The next photo brings us back to the Purdue campus with Danny and Michael sitting in front of the fountain on the engineering mall prior to the Homecoming game.
The penultimate photo features all 3 kids and the giant statue of Superman from Metropolis, Illinois from the trip home from Tupelo.
We finish things off with Angelina and Danny on the Fundamentals deck from Opening Day in April, with the US Cellular Field field in the background.
