Spanning The World: The Crazy Universe of Big-Time Sports, All-Star Egos, and Hall of Fame Bloopers – Len Berman

Back in 2005, I went to Europe for the first time and my mom bought me this book to read on the flight.  7 years later, again on a trip to Europe, I finally got around to it.  Len Berman is a local sports anchor in New York who, despite getting some national exposure with NBC over the years, I had never heard of.  He combines personal anecdotes with crazy sports stories for a rather easy, if unengaging read.  I can only assume that Berman’s fans would get more out of the book.
