Last September, at the conclusion of its seventh season, Rizzoli & Isles called it quits. Debuting in July of 2010 on TNT, the show aired 105 episodes before wrapping up as one of the network’s most successful dramas.
Starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, the show followed the exploits of a Boston police detective and her best friend, the chief medical examiner for the state. Together, they fought crime. The show weathered some tragedy in its fourth season when co-star Lee Thompson Young committed suicide.
While nobody would ever confuse Rizzoli & Isles with the best television has to offer, it was an entertaining way to pass the time, especially when it aired over the summer, with little competition.

Whitney was one of two network television shows created by Whitney Cummings to premiere during the fall of 2011. It also was the one that she also starred in, and was the one that got cancelled after 2 less than stellar seasons.
