I was thrilled to hear last spring that Karen Gillan, fresh off her run as Amelia Pond on Doctor Who, would be coming to my TV every week, along with the talented John Cho, on a new show called Selfie.  Sadly, my optimism was short lived.  I managed to get an early look at the pilot and was not impressed.  I stuck with it in the hopes that it would improve, and it did, slightly, but not enough to save it.  It got pulled off the schedule in November, having aired only 7 episodes.

I have little doubt the Gillan will become a huge star, either in movies or in another project.  Hopefully the next time she shows up on my screen it is in a much better project.
