Fitbit Week 42

Week42_FB

The week got off to a decent start thanks to some above-average weather on Sunday, leading to a nice outdoor walk around the neighborhood.  The workweek was pretty normal, with an outsized total on Wednesday thanks to after-work drinks.  My Thanksgiving vacation began on Friday, and I managed to surpass the 5500 step mark despite watching both parts of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.  Saturday also managed to sneak past the 5500 step mark, giving me my first week where every day was above goal in about a month.

Total steps: 46,215

GF4 – Week 21

Y4Week21Thanksgiving week brought a new low for the year, with only 1 day surpassing the 5500 step mark and only 2 others above 4000 steps.  Aside from Tuesday, which was the only day I was able to get out for a walk around the neighborhood, the rest of the week was a complete and utter bust, capped off by Sunday, where I didn’t even manage 1000 steps.

Total steps: 26,336

Daily average: 3762.3

GlobalFit III: Week 21

Y3Week21Thanksgiving week was mostly a bust.  Monday and Tuesday were mostly spent with Danny and Michael, who had the whole week off from school.  Monday we went to Enchanted Castle, where our dreams of indoor miniature golf were dashed by recent renovations that removed the indoor miniature golf.  Tuesday was spent at the Museum of Science & Industry, as we previously discussed.  Wednesday’s big trip was to the grocery store in preparation of Thanksgiving.  The day itself was spent at home watching a 3 Stooges marathon.  Friday and Saturday seem pretty similar, though there was still very little activity.

Total steps: 24,468

Weekly average: 3495.4

GFY2 – Week 20

Thanksgiving week is upon us, and got off to a typical slow start on Sunday.  Thanks to some unseasonably warm temperatures and a leg that was not hurting, Monday turned out to be a good day for a walk to the gas station to cash in some lottery tickets from March.  Tuesday featured a trip to the mall, which should have ended up with a higher total.  Wednesday had some pre-holiday shopping, and then the bottom fell out.  Three straight days of under 1500 steps, starting with Thanksgiving.
