FB2: Week 15

FB2_Week15A good week, as I surpassed my 6,000 step goal every day.  Things got off to a good start on Sunday thanks to a Mother’s Day trip to Brookfield Zoo.  The work week was pretty uneventful until Friday, where some pizza screw ups led to a lot of walking around the house waiting for deliveries.  Saturday just managed to sneak across the 6000 step plateau thanks to a trip to the grocery store.

Fitbit Week 15

Week15_FBA good week, where I passed the 5500 mark each day and even broke the 11,000 step plateau for my best day yet using the Fitbit.  The week got off a decent start thanks to a Mother’s Day trip to Brookfield Zoo, although the weather made sure that it was a short trip.  Monday was a normal day of work, thanks to an afternoon coffee run.  Tuesday added to that with a trip up to Milwaukee to see the White Sox battle the Brewers at Miller Park, which accounted for the high total.  The rest of the work week enjoyed decent weather, so there was some outdoor activity along with coffee runs.  Saturday also entailed a nice walk around the neighborhood.

Total steps: 53,059

Daily average: 7579.9

2015 Calendar

Cover1
Cover2 Now that Christmas has come and gone, we can unveil the cover to this year’s calendar gift made up of pictures I have taken throughout the year. Once again. this year’s calendar was produced by the good folks at Shutterfly. As in year’s past, we will unveil each month’s photo(s) on the first day of the month throughout 2015.

This year’s cover is made up of multiple pictures.  First, we have all 3 together from our Mother’s Day trip to Brookfield Zoo.  Next, we have Angelina and Michael in a shot from the Lincoln-Way West gym during one of Danny’s basketball games.  Lastly, we have Danny and Michael posing with Bucky Badger on the Vitense Golfland minature golf course in Madison, WI, where we stopped on our way to Minneapolis last July.

GFY2 – Week 38

Y2Week3824 steps.  That’s how close I came to an entire week of 5000 step days for the first time since September and the trip to Belfast.  The week started with a trip to Brookfield Zoo on Sunday for Breakfast with the Bunny, despite a temperature in the lower 30s.  Nothing out of the ordinary during the week, other than a concerted effort to keep the streak going.  Saturday’s result is disappointing, considering it was the nicest weather we had all year, but it conflicted with a Dr. Who marathon on BBC America.  Honestly, I’m surprised the total was as high as it was.
