{"id":6092,"date":"2014-07-14T06:04:34","date_gmt":"2014-07-14T12:04:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/?p=6092"},"modified":"2014-06-30T19:01:54","modified_gmt":"2014-07-01T01:01:54","slug":"you-ought-to-be-in-16-pictures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/you-ought-to-be-in-16-pictures\/","title":{"rendered":"You Ought To Be In (16) Pictures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6131\" src=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg\" alt=\"Movie_Reel_22\" width=\"314\" height=\"175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg 314w, https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22-300x167.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><\/a>Many years ago, using the weekly TV guide that came with the Sunday Chicago Tribune, I started keeping track of all of the movies I had seen over the course of my lifetime. \u00a0The guide would list the two main stars for each movie, and that is a tradition that I&#8217;ve carried on in my database ever since. \u00a0So, given those guidelines, it is time to look at all of the actors that have starred in at least 10 films that I have seen, as of May 30th.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we look at\u00a0the 4 actors that have starred in 16 movies that I have seen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drew Barrymore<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Like most of America, Drew Barrymore first entered my consciousness as the precocious little girl from <em>E.T.<\/em>, but it was another decade before she had a starring role that I saw, 1992&#8217;s <em>Poison Ivy<\/em>.\u00a0 In the year&#8217;s since, she has had two separate runs of 4 years, first from 1998-2001 and again from 2003-2006.\u00a0 3 years saw me seeing two of her films, most recently in 2004.\u00a0 The most recent of her films that I&#8217;ve seen was <em>Music And Lyrics<\/em>, which I saw in 2008.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tom Cruise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Top Gun<\/em> was likely my first introduction to Tom Cruise&#8217;s starring roles.\u00a0 2000 was a big year for his films, as I saw 4 of them, the only time I&#8217;ve seen more than one.\u00a0 I took a 5 year break from his films after seeing <em>War Of The Worlds<\/em> in 2007.\u00a0 The last film of his that I&#8217;ve seen was <em>Mission: Impossible &#8211;
