Fox returned to television to star in his first show since leaving <em>Spin City<\/em> in 2000. \u00a0The show was given a full season without even producing a pilot, and, predictably, things did not work out as well as expected. \u00a0The show was pulled off the air in February, after months of disappointing ratings, but was not officially cancelled until NBC announced their fall schedule last\u00a0month.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Michael J. Fox, who had shined recently in guest appearances on <em>The Good Wife<\/em>, this show also co-starred Katie Finneran from the tragically short <em>Wonderfalls<\/em>.\u00a0 Unfortunately, the show wasn&#8217;t very good.\u00a0 Which isn&#8217;t to say it was bad, it was just kind of blah.\u00a0 I think I saw all of the episodes that aired, but there might have been one or two that I forgot to DVR and, to be honest, it didn&#8217;t bother me.\u00a0 Two things I did enjoy about the show were Betsy Brandt, who was new to me (yes, I haven&#8217;t watched <em>Breaking Bad<\/em> yet) and Juliette Goglia, who impressed as the daughter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michael J.
