{"id":4043,"date":"2013-06-12T17:58:24","date_gmt":"2013-06-12T23:58:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/?p=4043"},"modified":"2013-06-12T17:58:24","modified_gmt":"2013-06-12T23:58:24","slug":"vacation-recap-the-magic-kingdom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/vacation-recap-the-magic-kingdom\/","title":{"rendered":"Vacation Recap: The Magic Kingdom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/disney_world.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3791\" alt=\"disney_world\" src=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/disney_world.jpeg\" width=\"560\" height=\"420\" srcset=\"https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/disney_world.jpeg 560w, https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/disney_world-300x225.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a>When most people think of Disney World, the image in their mind is likely that of the Magic Kingdom, which is where I spent the first day and part of the second day of my vacation last week. \u00a0Between both days, we pretty much hit all of the non-kiddie rides and attractions.<\/p>\n<p>Our first ride upon arriving at the Magic Kingdom, after the railroad, was the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. \u00a0After that, things become a bit of a blur, but we did end up on Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan&#8217;s Flight, Under the Sea &#8211; Journey of The Little Mermaid, It&#8217;s A Small World, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and Tomorrowland Speedway. \u00a0The only show we took in was Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.<\/p>\n<p>The highlights of the trips through the Magic Kingdom include Danny not getting his fingerprint to work on the first day and not being able to get in to the park for a good 5 &#8211; 10 minutes and getting stuck on Splash Mountain while animatronic birds kept looking at us and going over their lines again and again. \u00a0Beyond that, there was a lot of walking and a lot of classic, if not somewhat tame, rides.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When most people think of Disney World, the image in their mind is likely that of the Magic Kingdom, which is where I spent the first day and part of the second day of my vacation last week. \u00a0Between both days, we pretty much hit all of the non-kiddie rides and attractions.
