Jack Egbert was selected by the White Sox in the 13th round of the 2004 draft. \u00a0He earned a promotion to big league club in late April 2009, replacing the ineffective Mike MacDougal in the bullpen. \u00a0Unfortunately, he was no better, and 4 days later, he was sent back down to Charlotte, replaced by Lance Broadway.<\/p>\n

In late September of that year, Egbert was placed on waivers and was selected by the Mets, thus ending his White Sox career.<\/p>\n
