\"\"<\/a>It’s been 4 years since we last counted down the Top 200 artists in my iTunes library.\u00a0 Since my iTunes stats are still intact, across multiple PCs, iPods, iPads, and iPhones, I figured it was time to take another look at the artists that have entertained me the most based on number of plays from late 2007 through January 1, 2021.<\/p>\n

We wrap up the first three quarters of the list today with the next batch of 10 artists, with ties at 56th, 54th, and 50th.<\/p>\n

#60: Frank Sinatra
\niTunes stats: 142 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #81<\/a><\/p>\n

The crooner from New Jersey and the leader of the Rat Pack jumps 19 slots thanks mostly to former White Sox third baseman Todd Frazier, who uses Sinatra tunes as his at bat music.<\/p>\n

#59: TLC
\niTunes stats: 143 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #64<\/a><\/p>\n

Adding a seventh song to my collection helps push the hip hop trio up 5 spots after a 104% increase.<\/p>\n

#58: Smashing Pumpkins
\niTunes stats: 145 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #58<\/a><\/p>\n

64 new listens over the past 4 years enables the Chicago based alternative band to remain stable in the rankings.<\/p>\n

#56: Cheap Trick
\niTunes stats: 153 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #55<\/a><\/p>\n

The boys from Rockford, who I have seen open up for two other bands on this list, add an additional 67 listens, which puts them down 1 spot on the list.<\/p>\n

#56: Cracker
\niTunes stats: 153 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #51<\/a><\/p>\n

Only 58 new listens over the past 4 years, a small 61% increase, led to a 5 spot drop for the Georgia rockers.<\/p>\n

#54: Sam Kinison
\niTunes stats: 156 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #62<\/a><\/p>\n

The loud comedian, who died in 1992, more than doubled his play total and jumped 8 slots on the charts.<\/p>\n

#54: Hole
\niTunes stats: 156 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #49<\/a><\/p>\n

Six songs, allegedly written mostly by Kurt Cobain and Billy Corgan, added only 59 new listens over the past 4 years\u00a0for Courtney Love\u2019s band, causing a 5 spot drop in the rankings.<\/p>\n

#53: The Cranberries
\niTunes stats: 158 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #84<\/a><\/p>\n

The untimely death of singer Dolores O’Riordan in 2018 helped push the band to a whopping 102 listen increase, the largest total to dats, while moving up 31 spots.<\/p>\n

#52: Journey
\niTunes stats: 171 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #41<\/a><\/p>\n

The removal of\u00a0Don\u2019t Stop Believin\u2019<\/em>\u00a0from my White Sox victory playlist has caused the band to drop 11 spots in the rankings.<\/p>\n

#50: Weird Al Yankovic
\niTunes stats: 176 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #46<\/a><\/p>\n
