\"\"<\/a>It’s been 4 years since we last counted down the Top 200 artists in my iTunes library.\u00a0 Since my iTunes stats are still intact, across multiple PCs, iPods, iPads, and iPhones, I figured it was time to take another look at the artists that have entertained me the most based on number of plays from late 2007 through January 1, 2021.<\/p>\n

We continue today with the next batch of 10 artists, breaking past the 100 play plateau with the 2 remaining tied for 89th place, the single artist at 88, 2 tied for 86th, and the single artists at 85th through 81st.<\/p>\n

#89: Chance The Rapper

\nPrevious ranking: #139<\/a><\/p>\n

Somehow the two clips from his intro video for the 2016 White Sox jumped 50 spots due to a 182% increase in plays over the last 4 years.<\/p>\n

#89: Roxette
\niTunes stats: 93 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #95<\/a><\/p>\n

Sweden’s second best selling musical act after Abba, the pop duo nearly doubled their listens while moving up 6 spots on the chart.<\/p>\n

#88: The Muffs
\niTunes stats: 94 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #70<\/a><\/p>\n

A big 18 spot drop for the band most well known for a Fruitopia commercial back in the day, thanks to a mere 32 new plays.<\/p>\n

#86: Soul Asylum
\niTunes stats: 97 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #88<\/a><\/p>\n

43 new listens for the Minneapolis-based band pushes them up 2 spots in the rankings.<\/p>\n

#86: Christina Aguilera
\niTunes stats: 97 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #84<\/a><\/p>\n

The former\u00a0Voice<\/em>\u00a0star sees a 73% increase, enabling her to drop only 2 spots.<\/p>\n

#85: The Outfield
\niTunes stats: 99 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #54<\/a><\/p>\n

With the only song in my collection being the walkup music for former White Sox infielder Gordon Beckham, the group added a mere 10 plays over the past 4 years.<\/p>\n

#84: Kermit the Frog
\niTunes stats: 102 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #59<\/a><\/p>\n

The world\u2019s most favorite Muppet added just 24 new listens to the 7 tracks in my collection.<\/p>\n

#83: Bell Biv DeVoe
\niTunes stats: 103 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #76<\/a><\/p>\n

44 new listens for the former members of New Edition cause them to drop 7 spots in the rankings.<\/p>\n

#82: Neil Diamond
\niTunes stats: 105 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #92<\/a><\/p>\n

The 2011 inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame more than doubled his number of plays, causing him to rise 10 spots on the chart.<\/p>\n

#81: 10,000 Maniacs
\niTunes stats: 108 plays
\nPrevious ranking: #59<\/a><\/p>\n
