{"id":15874,"date":"2020-04-04T01:40:14","date_gmt":"2020-04-04T07:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/?p=15874"},"modified":"2020-03-29T19:38:58","modified_gmt":"2020-03-30T01:38:58","slug":"200-things-to-do-in-illinois-ravinia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/2020\/04\/200-things-to-do-in-illinois-ravinia\/","title":{"rendered":"200 Things To Do In Illinois \u2013 Ravinia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Illinois celebrated its bicentennial as a state in December of 2018.\u00a0 To celebrate, the Chicago Tribune published the Bicentennial Bucket List: 200 Things To Do In Illinois, celebrating the best the state has to offer in history, food, architecture, culture, sports, nature, drink, and oddities.\u00a0 With the state still shut down due to the corona virus outbreak, I figured this was the second-best time to look through this collection and cover the ones I\u2019ve done\/eaten\/seen.<\/p>\n<p>We kick things off with one of the entries from the Culture category: Ravinia, from Highland Park, IL.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/garbage_ravinia.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12729\" src=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/garbage_ravinia.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"547\" height=\"547\" srcset=\"https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/garbage_ravinia.jpg 547w, https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/garbage_ravinia-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/garbage_ravinia-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The oldest outdoor music festival in North America draws 600,000 listeners each summer &#8211;
