\"Emmy_statue\"<\/a>Tonight’s the night for the Emmy Awards, so it’s time to finish off my predictions for the\u00a0awards. \u00a0Today, we’re\u00a0focusing on the awards for Dramas.\u00a0 I most likely have seen most of these shows, so, unlike my annual Oscar predictions, I will not mostly be going on gut feel and word of mouth, but will have a somewhat informed decision.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Drama<\/h3>\n

Better Call Saul<\/em><\/p>\n

The Crown<\/em><\/p>\n

The Handmaid’s Tale<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

House of Cards<\/em><\/p>\n

Stranger Things<\/em><\/p>\n

This Is Us<\/em><\/p>\n

Westworld<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I watched two of these, but I don’t expect either of them to win.\u00a0 With Westworld<\/em> being HBO’s only entry, my guess is it will take home the prize.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Actress In A Drama<\/h3>\n

Viola Davis,\u00a0How To Get Away With Murder<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Claire Foy, The Crown<\/i><\/p>\n

Elisabeth Moss, The Handmaid’s Tale<\/em><\/p>\n

Keri Russell,\u00a0The Americans<\/em><\/p>\n

Evan Rachel Wood,\u00a0Westworld<\/em><\/p>\n

Robin Wright, House of Cards<\/em><\/p>\n

If it were up to me, I’d give the award to either Keri Russell, but I assume that Viola Davis\u00a0will take home the prize.<\/p>\n

Anthony Hopkins, Westworld<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Liev Schreiber,\u00a0Ray Donovan<\/em><\/p>\n

Kevin Spacey, House of Cards<\/em><\/p>\n

Milo Ventimiglia,\u00a0This Is Us<\/em><\/p>\n

Some new blood in this category. \u00a0I’m assuming that Brown and Ventimiglia will split the vote and leave Sir Hopkins to claim victory.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama<\/h3>\n

Uzo Aduba, Orange Is The New Black<\/em><\/p>\n

Millie Bobby Brown, Stranger Things<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Without a single returning nominee, this category is wide open.\u00a0 I know she really won’t win, but I’ll give the nod to Mille Bobby Brown.<\/p>\n
