\"old-tv-set1\"<\/a>Continuing our look back<\/a> at my thoughts on the new fall season with the offerings I found\u00a0myself interested in for Tuesdays.<\/p>\n

7:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Muppets<\/em>\u00a0– ABC brings a new version of the Muppets to television, this time as a\u00a0work place comedy.\u00a0 Basically, The Office<\/em> but with Kermit.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Possibly the new show I was looking forward to the most, but it suffered from tone issues. \u00a0A new showrunner is taking over, so hopefully things will more resemble the Muppets everyone knows and loves.<\/p>\n

The Flash<\/em> – A surprisingly fun adaptation of the DC superhero.\u00a0 The first season was very satisfying and I hope for more of the same.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Still a lot of fun, though the Flash’s secret identity is one of the worst kept secrets in Central City.<\/p>\n

8:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.<\/em> – Another new status quo, following the end of last season and the events of the latest Avengers movie, as we head in to season 3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

More of the same from the fine folks at Mutant Enemy and Marvel.<\/p>\n

Scream Queens<\/i> – Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis team for this horror comedy, hopefully in the vein of the Scream<\/em> films, from FOX.\u00a0 I’m certainly willing to give it a shot to impress.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I lasted a few weeks, but once the show came back after the World Series, the schedule got busy and I had to drop it.<\/p>\n

iZombie<\/em>\u00a0– The zombie comedy, which was a midseason surprise last spring, returns for a full season.\u00a0 I have a lot of faith in EP Rob Thomas, so I’m looking for good things.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A surprisingly enjoyable procedural from the people who brought us Veronica Mars<\/em>.<\/p>\n

9:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

Limitless<\/em>\u00a0– Picking up from the Bradley Cooper film of the same name, the show asks the question of what you would\u00a0do if you took a pill that opened up every corner of the human brain.\u00a0 The movie was good enough, so I’ll give this a shot.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A decent, if unspectacular, way to spend an hour.<\/p>\n

Now let’s look at what’s new on Tuesdays this spring:<\/p>\n

New Girl<\/em> – The FOX comedy returned earlier this month, with star Zooey Deschanel about to go out on maternity leave, to be replaced by, of all people, Megan Fox.<\/p>\n

Marvel’s Agent Carter<\/em> – Hayley Atwell returns as the best agent in the post-WWII SSR. \u00a0This time, she is sent to Los Angeles to solve the mystery of a strange new power source.<\/p>\n

Pretty Little Liars<\/em> – A has been exposed and the girls are all grown up, but a new dead body brings suspicion back upon them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
