Anthony Bourdain, The Taste<\/em><\/p>\n

Cat Deeley, So You Think You Can Dance<\/em><\/p>\n

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, Project Runway<\/em><\/p>\n

Jane Lynch,\u00a0Hollywood Game Night<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jane Lynch already took home the prize for hosting NBC’s hit game show.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Reality Show Competition<\/h3>\n

The Amazing Race<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/p>\n

Project Runway<\/em><\/p>\n

So You Think You Can Dance<\/em><\/p>\n

Top Chef<\/em><\/p>\n

The Voice<\/em><\/p>\n

The Amazing Race <\/em>took back the crown last year, and I’m betting that it keeps it again this year.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Variety Talk Series<\/h3>\n

The Colbert Report<\/em><\/p>\n

The Daily Show With Jon Stewart<\/em><\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em><\/p>\n

Last Week Tonight With John Oliver<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Late Show With David Letterman<\/em><\/p>\n

The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon<\/em><\/p>\n

What a tough category, as 3 of the shows wrapped up wildly successful runs earlier this year. \u00a0That said, I think John Oliver and his HBO show, Last Week Tonight<\/em>, certainly deserves the award.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Variety Sketch Series<\/h3>\n

Drunk History<\/em><\/p>\n

Inside Amy Schumer<\/em><\/p>\n

Key & Peele<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Portlandia<\/em><\/p>\n

Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/p>\n

The sexy choice here would be to go with Amy Schumer, since she seems to be on top of the world, but I think the recently-wrapped up Key & Peele<\/em> will win the prize.<\/p>\n

Outstanding TV Miniseries<\/h3>\n

American Crime<\/em><\/p>\n

American Horror Story:\u00a0Freak Show<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Honorable Woman<\/em><\/p>\n

Olive Kitteridge<\/em><\/p>\n

Wolf Hall<\/em><\/p>\n

The miniseries and movie category was once again split out this year, which means there’s another category that I know nothing about. \u00a0I am going to give the nod to AHS<\/em>, based on nothing more than a feeling.<\/p>\n

Agatha Christie\u2019s Poirot: Curtain, Poirot\u2019s Last Case<\/em><\/p>\n

Nightingale<\/em><\/p>\n

Well, I’ve never heard of most of these, but thankfully Bessie<\/em> already took home the award.<\/p>\n

Maggie Gyllenhaal, The Honorable Woman<\/em><\/p>\n

Felicity Huffman, American Crime<\/em><\/p>\n

Jessica Lange, American Horror Story: Freak Show<\/em><\/p>\n

Queen Latifah, Bessie<\/em><\/p>\n

Frances McDormand, Olive Kitteridge<\/em><\/p>\n

Emma Thompson, Live from Lincoln Center \u2013 Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street in Concert with the New York Philharmonic <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite not having seen it, I’m going to go with Emma Thompson’s performance in Sweeney Todd<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Ricky Gervais, Derek: The Special<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

David Oyelowo, Nightingale<\/em><\/p>\n

Mark Rylance, Wolf Hall <\/em><\/p>\n

Not having seen any of these, I’m going to take a shot in the dark and say that Ricky Gervais will win the award.<\/p>\n

My best guess, having missed all of this quality programming, is that Kathy Bates will be bringing home the trophy.<\/p>\n
