\"Emmy_statue\"<\/a>With the\u00a0Emmy Awards scheduled for Monday night, here\u2019s day two of my predictions for the\u00a0awards, today focusing on reality shows and made for TV movies.\u00a0 I likely have seen not seen most (any?) of these, so I will probably not have an informed decision, but when has that ever stopped me.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Reality Show Host<\/h3>\n

Jane Lynch,\u00a0Hollywood Game Night<\/em><\/p>\n

Betty White, Betty White\u2019s Off Their Rockers<\/em><\/p>\n

Tom Bergeron, Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, Project Runway<\/em><\/p>\n

Cat Deeley, So You Think You Can Dance<\/em><\/p>\n

Anthony Bourdain, The Taste<\/em><\/p>\n

Tom Bergeron has won this in the past, and that seems like as good a reason as any for him to win it again.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Reality Show Competition<\/h3>\n

The Amazing Race<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/p>\n

Project Runway<\/em><\/p>\n

So You Think You Can Dance<\/em><\/p>\n

Top Chef<\/em><\/p>\n

The Voice<\/em><\/p>\n

The Voice<\/em> broke The Amazing Race<\/em>‘s winning streak last year, but I’m thinking the CBS adventure show takes back the crown this year.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Series<\/h3>\n

The Colbert Report<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Daily Show With Jon Stewart<\/em><\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em><\/p>\n

The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon<\/em><\/p>\n

Real Time With Bill Maher<\/em><\/p>\n

Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/p>\n

The Colbert Report<\/em> broke through last year and wrestled the award away from his pals at TDS. \u00a0Given that the show will be wrapping up soon so that Colbert can move over to CBS to take over for Letterman, I would think he will win another award as a going away gift.<\/p>\n

Outstanding TV Miniseries<\/h3>\n

American Horror Story: Coven<\/em><\/p>\n

Fargo<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The White Queen<\/em><\/p>\n

Bonnie And Clyde<\/em><\/p>\n

Treme<\/em><\/p>\n

The miniseries and movie category was split out this year, which means there’s another category that I know nothing about. \u00a0I am going to give the nod to Fargo<\/em>, based on nothing more than having seen the movie years ago.<\/p>\n

It seems as though The Normal Heart<\/em> is the runaway choice here.<\/p>\n

While I’m sure the Emmy will end up going to one of the Fargo<\/em> actors, my sentimental favorite, meaning the only one that I’ve seen, is Benedict Cumberbatch from Sherlock<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Julia Roberts, The Normal Heart<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Emmys love giving awards to movie stars who “slum” in television projects, so I assume Julia Roberts will take home this prize.<\/p>\n
