\"Movie_Reel_22\"<\/a>Many years ago, using the weekly TV guide that came with the Sunday Chicago Tribune, I started keeping track of all of the movies I had seen over the course of my lifetime. \u00a0The guide would list the two main stars for each movie, and that is a tradition that I’ve carried on in my database ever since. \u00a0So, given those guidelines, it is time to look at all of the actors that have starred in at least 10 films that I have seen, as of May 30th.<\/p>\n

Today, we continue\u00a0with the 7 actors that have starred in 15 movies that I have seen.<\/p>\n

Matt Damon<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1994, Matt Damon made his first appearance on my personal movie screen with his role in 1992’s School Ties<\/em>.\u00a0 He disappeared for a while until reappearing in 1999 with 3 different films.\u00a0 From that point on, he has been a pretty regular entrant in my watched films, including a four year run from 2005-2008.\u00a0 The last film of his I’ve seen was in 2012, when I saw the previous year’s Contagion<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Robert DeNiro<\/strong><\/p>\n

My first experience with Robert DeNiro was back in 1988, when I saw Angel Heart<\/em>.\u00a0 He then went quiet to me for 8 years, coming back in 1996 with Sleepers<\/em>.\u00a0 2000 was my high water mark with his work when I saw 3 of his films.\u00a0 My most recent experience with him was 2011, when I saw him in both Machete<\/em> and Limitless<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Angelina Jolie<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first starring role of Angelina Jolie’s that I saw was 1995’s Hackers<\/em>.\u00a0 2005 was my most prolific Jolie year, when I took in 3 of her films.\u00a0 Her last appearance on my screen was in 2012, when I saw her in Changeling<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Steve Martin<\/strong><\/p>\n

My first Steve Martin experience was likely in Three Amigos!<\/em>, which I saw in the theater back in 1986.\u00a0 The majority of his films that I’ve seen came prior to my keeping track, so I’m not sure when I saw them.\u00a0 The last starring role of his that I saw was 2005’s Shopgirl<\/em>, which I saw in 2009.<\/p>\n

Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/strong><\/p>\n

My initial introduction to the future governor of California was most likely 1987’s The Running Man<\/em>.\u00a0 2008 was both my biggest collection and last experience with his films, when I took in Predator<\/em>, Commando<\/em>, and Junior<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Sylvester Stallone<\/strong><\/p>\n

My first exposure to Sylvester Stallone was through the Rocky<\/em> franchise, whose 6 films make up 40% of this total.\u00a0 My biggest Stallone years were 1991 and 2007, when I took in a grand total of 2 films each.\u00a0 My most recent experience with his films was in 2010, when I saw The Expendables<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Robin Williams<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u00a0first encountered Robin Williams on the big screen in the 1980 spectacle Popeye<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Similar to Schwarzenegger, 2008 was both my\u00a0biggest Williams year and my last time seeing his films, when I saw Jack<\/em>, License To Wed<\/em>, and The Night Listener<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
