{"id":6086,"date":"2014-06-23T06:01:49","date_gmt":"2014-06-23T12:01:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/?p=6086"},"modified":"2014-06-10T19:57:35","modified_gmt":"2014-06-11T01:57:35","slug":"13-films","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/2014\/06\/13-films\/","title":{"rendered":"You Ought To Be In (13) Pictures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6131\" src=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg\" alt=\"Movie_Reel_22\" width=\"314\" height=\"175\" srcset=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg 314w, http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22-300x167.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many years ago, using the weekly TV guide that came with the Sunday Chicago Tribune, I started keeping track of all of the movies I had seen over the course of my lifetime. \u00a0The guide would list the two main stars for each movie, and that is a tradition that I&#8217;ve carried on in my database ever since. \u00a0So, given those guidelines, it is time to look at all of the actors that have starred in at least 10 films that I have seen, as of May 30th.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we continue\u00a0with the 5 actors that have starred in 13 movies that I have seen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cameron Diaz<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I first encountered Cameron Diaz back in 1996, when I saw her in a little indie film called <em>The Last Supper<\/em>. \u00a0She managed to get 2 films on my list in 4 different years, most recently in 2010. \u00a0I&#8217;ve drifted away from her output in recent years, as the last one I&#8217;ve seen was 2011&#8217;s <em>Bad Teacher<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brad Pitt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 1994, I saw a little film called <em>Kalifornia<\/em>, which introduced me to Brad Pitt. \u00a0While he would become a mega-star over the next few years, I was a bit of a late comer to his films. \u00a0Other than watching <em>A River Runs Through It<\/em> in 1997 during the Sports in Literature class I took during my last semester of college, it was 2000 before I saw another Pitt film. \u00a0Making up for lost time, I plowed through 3 films in 2000. \u00a0Pitt currently has a 4 year streak on the line, starting in 2010 and continuing through last year, when I saw <em>World War Z<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Natalie Portman<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first starring roles of Natalie Portman&#8217;s that I saw were in 2001, when I watched a double feature of <em>Where The Heart Is<\/em> and <em>Anywhere But Here<\/em>. \u00a0Her appearances in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and the Thor franchise have accounted for 31% of her overall total. \u00a02011 was a big Portman year for me, as I saw a whopping 4 of her films. \u00a0My last experience with her work was last year&#8217;s <em>Thor: The Dark World<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keanu Reeves<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Keanu Reeves slinked on to my movie screens in 1988 in a small film called <em>Permanent Record<\/em>. \u00a0The following year, he became huge thanks to <em>Bill &amp;
