\"Movie_Reel_22\"<\/a>Many years ago, using the weekly TV guide that came with the Sunday Chicago Tribune, I started keeping track of all of the movies I had seen over the course of my lifetime. \u00a0The guide would list the two main stars for each movie, and that is a tradition that I’ve carried on in my database ever since. \u00a0So, given those guidelines, it is time to look at all of the actors that have starred in at least 10 films that I have seen, as of May 30th.<\/p>\n

Today, we look at\u00a0the 8 actors that have starred in 12 movies that I have seen.<\/p>\n

Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong><\/p>\n

My first experience with the former teenage scream queen was likely in the first Halloween<\/em>, the franchise that is responsible for 1\/3 of the films on this list. \u00a0The frequency of my watching her films has slowed down significantly in the 21st century, though my last experience with her was just 3 years ago when I saw You Again<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Morgan Freeman<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first film I saw starring Morgan Freeman was the Kevin Costner vehicle Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves<\/em>. \u00a0Starting in 2000, he put together a 6 year streak that covered 8 films. \u00a0My biggest Freeman years were 2000, 2005, and, my most recent experience with him, in 2008, when I saw both Wanted<\/em> and Evan Almighty<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Gene Hackman<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gene Hackman first entered my movie consciousness when I saw the original Christopher Reeve Superman<\/em>. \u00a0My biggest Hackman years were 2000 and 2003, when I saw 2 of his films. \u00a0Hackman has mostly retired at this point, so the odds are that the last film I saw of his, Runaway Jury<\/em> in 2012, will continue to be his last.<\/p>\n

Corey Haim<\/strong><\/p>\n

My first experience with Corey Haim was likely 1986’s Lucas<\/em>. \u00a0I had seen 6 of his films by the time I graduated high school. \u00a0The quality of his movies, along with this life, spiraled downward after that. \u00a0My biggest Haim year was 2000, when I saw 3 of his films, none of which likely ever saw the inside of a movie theater. \u00a0My final Haim film was 1993’s Just One Of The Girls<\/em>, which I saw in 2004. \u00a0Haim passed away in 2010, so he is not likely to be moving up this list anytime soon.<\/p>\n

Gwyneth Paltrow<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first starring role of Gwyneth Paltrow’s that I saw was The Pallbearer<\/em>, back in 1997. \u00a0That started a 7 year streak that came to an end in 2003 after I saw Shallow Hal<\/em>. \u00a0That streak included 4 films in 1999. \u00a0The most recent film of hers that I’ve seen was last year’s Iron Man 3<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Vince Vaughn<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vince Vaughn splashed on to the scene in 1996’s Swingers<\/em>, which I saw in 1998. \u00a0Since then, he has been fairly consistent, with me seeing a film of his either every year or every other year. \u00a0In fact, I hadn’t gone more than a year without seeing one of his films until his current dry spell, dating back to 2011, when I saw Psycho<\/em> and The Dilemma<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Mark Wahlberg<\/strong><\/p>\n

The former leader of the Funky Bunch first moved over to movies with Fear<\/em>, in which he costarred with the next star on the list, in 1996. \u00a0There have been 3 years since where I have seen multiple Wahlberg flicks, most recently in 2011. \u00a0The last film of his that I saw was in 2013, when I watched Ted<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Reese Witherspoon<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reese Witherspoon crashed in to my movie going consciousness in 1996 with two entries, the aforementioned Fear<\/em> and Freeway<\/em>. \u00a0A 6 year streak started in 1999 and finished in 2004 with the sequel to Legally Blonde<\/em>. \u00a0The last time I saw one of her films was in 2009, when I watched 2008’s Four Christmases<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
