109 different people starred in the movies I saw last year (starring in being the first two named stars, a tradition dating back to the old Chicago Tribune TV guide), and only\u00a09 of them were in more than 1.\u00a0 Those\u00a0nine are:<\/p>\n

Now let’s take a look at the remaining movies that I saw in 2012, following up on Wednesday’s post.<\/p>\n

Ghosts of Goldfield (2007)<\/strong>
\nA horrible, horrible film that I barely paid attention to.<\/p>\n

Chronicle (2012)<\/strong>
\nA found footage film of a kid who has been bullied all of his life and acquires super powers.<\/p>\n

Gone (2012)<\/strong>
\nWhen a former kidnapping victim wakes up to find her sister missing, she assumes the man from whom she escaped is the one responsible.<\/p>\n

The Sitter (2011)<\/strong>
\nJonah Hill is a poor-man’s Elizabeth Shue in this basic rip-off of Adventures In Babysitting<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Darkest Hour (2011)<\/strong>
\nA quartet of Americans are stranded in Russia when aliens attack the world.<\/p>\n

Santa’s Slay (2005)<\/strong>
\nThe “true” tale of Santa, Satan’s child who has been nice to children because he lost a bet.<\/p>\n

Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance (2012)<\/strong>
\nQuite possibly the worst movie I saw in this, or any other, year.<\/p>\n

Dream House (2011)<\/strong>
\nDaniel Craig uses a new identity to help prove that he didn’t kill his family.<\/p>\n

Blue Valentine (2010)<\/strong>
\nA soul-crushing look at a relationship that has turned toxic.<\/p>\n

Brake (2012)<\/strong>
\n95% of this film is Stephen Dorff locked in a car trunk. That’s a lot of Stephen Dorff.<\/p>\n

Tucker And Dale Vs. Evil (2010)<\/strong>
\nTotally not what I was expecting and one of the nicer surprises of the year. A truly funny horror movie that did not get anywhere near the love it deserved.<\/p>\n

Trapped (2002)<\/strong>
