Jeff Marquez was acquired by the White Sox after the 2008 season along with Wilson Betemit and Jhonny Nunez in the deal the sent Nick Swisher packing to the Yankees. \u00a0He made his major league debut on July 9, 2010 against the Royals, giving up 2 runs in 1 inning of work. \u00a0After that game, he was quickly returned to the minor leagues, and thus ended his White Sox career. \u00a0In June of 2011, he was claimed off of waivers by the Yankees.<\/p>\n
