Thursday night is traditionally the busiest night of the week. \u00a0Here’s what’s on the slate for this season.<\/p>\n

7:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Big Bang Theory<\/em> – Entering its 6th season, the show is at its ratings high point. \u00a0They pick up right where last season left off, with Howard married and in space.<\/p>\n

30 Rock<\/em> – Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin return for the 7th and final season. \u00a0I will certainly look forward to these last 13 episodes.<\/p>\n

Last Resort<\/em> – Early reports are that this show had the best pilot of the season, but left some doubts as to how it could continue on on a week to week basis. \u00a0I’m looking forward to seeing for myself.<\/p>\n

7:30<\/strong><\/p>\n

Up All Night<\/em> – Christina Applegate and Will Arnett return in the last minute renewal from last spring. \u00a0The status quo gets shaken up a bit as Ava’s show was cancelled in last week’s season premiere, putting Applegate’s Reagan and Maya Rudolph’s Ava out of work.<\/p>\n

8:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

Person Of Interest<\/em> – The enigmatic hit returns for its second season. \u00a0Michael Emerson was not given as much to do last season as one would have hoped following Lost<\/em>, but his role did pick up somewhat towards the end of the year.<\/p>\n

The Office<\/em> – The producers had previously announced that this season would be the show’s last. \u00a0With original EP Greg Daniels returning to bring the show to its conclusion. \u00a0Last week’s season premiere introduced some new, younger employees that might cause Jim and Pam to re-evaluate their lot in life.<\/p>\n

Grey’s Anatomy<\/em> – The 9th season opens a few months after the plane crash that closed out last season. \u00a0There will be some cast shakeups, as Chyler Leigh is gone and Eric Dane is leaving. \u00a0While not as good as it once was (and what show is after 9 years), it is still an entertaining way to pass an hour.<\/p>\n

Beauty And The Beast<\/em> – I’m not sure how much of a chance I’ll be giving this remake of the 80s show, but putting Kristin Kreuk in the Linda Hamilton role does give me a little interest. \u00a0After burning out on her completely thanks to Smallville<\/em>, her guest appearance on Chuck<\/em> reminded me that she could do interesting work in the hands of capable writers.<\/p>\n

9:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elementary<\/em> – There have been a number of Sherlock Holmes-inspired shows over the past few years, but none (outside of the BBCs recent adaptation) that tackled Holmes directly. \u00a0This attempt to bring Sherlock into the modern day has a twist, with Lucy Liu starring as Dr. Watson. \u00a0I’ll give it a shot and see how things go.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
