{"id":22997,"date":"2025-06-29T05:38:40","date_gmt":"2025-06-29T11:38:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/?p=22997"},"modified":"2025-06-22T15:58:03","modified_gmt":"2025-06-22T21:58:03","slug":"finishing-a-challenge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/2025\/06\/finishing-a-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"Finishing A Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/kindlespringchallenge.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22998\" src=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/kindlespringchallenge.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"531\" height=\"1205\" srcset=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/kindlespringchallenge.jpg 531w, http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/kindlespringchallenge-132x300.jpg 132w, http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/kindlespringchallenge-451x1024.jpg 451w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/a>Every quarter, Kindle releases a reading challenge as a way to gamify reading on their platform.\u00a0 The Spring 2025 challenge, which wraps up tomorrow, was the first one I&#8217;ve ever completed, finishing all fifteen achievements.\u00a0 Those achievements were:<\/p>\n<h3>Days Read<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bronze Reader: read on any 15 days during the challenge<\/li>\n<li>Silver Reader: read on any 40 days during the challenge<\/li>\n<li>Gold Reader: read on any 75 days during the challenge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Gold Reader is the one I usually have an issue with.\u00a0 Either due to other commitments or reading actual physical books, I&#8217;ve always fell short of the 75 days out of the 90 or so within the quarter.<\/p>\n<h3>Books Completed<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bookish: read one book<\/li>\n<li>Bookworm: read two books<\/li>\n<li>Bibliophile: read three books<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This one is always easy.\u00a0 For reference, I wrapped this one up less than two weeks into April.<\/p>\n<h3>Streaks<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Head Start: read one day during the month<\/li>\n<li>Perfect Week: read 7 days in a row (Sunday through Saturday)<\/li>\n<li>Perfect Month: read every day for a calendar month (ex. every day in February)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Again, the Perfect Month is where I usually fall short.\u00a0 This time I was able to complete that particular achievement in April.<\/p>\n<h3>Mystery<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Case Closed: complete a Kindle book.<\/li>\n<li>Afterglow: read at least three days between April 29 and May 2<\/li>\n<li>Smart Start: read on a Monday in May.
