Since that time, the world has literally changed, and my commute has decreased from 1+ hours each way to 25 steps. So, despite the decrease in potential listening time, I figured it was time to take another look, based on number of plays from late 2007 through the morning of January 1, 2022.<\/p>\n

Today, we continue our countdown with the next batch of ten albums that I have listened to the most over the last 15 years with three compilations, two comedy albums, and a heavy dose of 90s alternative favorites.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>#69: Various Artists \u2013 The TransFormers: The Movie<\/em>
\niTunes stats: 149 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 60<\/a><\/p>\n

A 46% increase in plays for the six tunes, from the likes of Stan Bush and Weird Al Yankovic, from this soundtrack from the animated TransFormers film from the mid-80s.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>#69: George Carlin \u2013 Life is Worth Losing<\/em>
\niTunes stats: 149 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 85<\/a><\/p>\n

The comedian’s 18th album, and 13th HBO special, added 70 new listens while rising 16 spots in the rankings.<\/p>\n

#68: Various Artists \u2013 ’90s Style<\/em>
\niTunes stats: 155 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 64<\/a><\/p>\n

A 56% increase in plays over the past four years for the nine tracks from exciting 90s artists, like Jill Sobule, Green Jelly, and MC Hammer, from this compilation album.<\/p>\n

#67: Various Artists \u2013 Millennium Hip-Hop Party Vol. 2<\/em>
\niTunes stats: 158 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 66<\/a><\/p>\n

This turn-of-the-century compilation added 60 new listens to seven tracks, from artists like Coolio, Naughty By Nature, and Paperboy.<\/p>\n

#65: Poison \u2013 Swallow This Live<\/em>
\niTunes stats: 160 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 58<\/a><\/p>\n

A 52% increase for the eight tracks from this double album, the first CD I ever owned after receiving it for Christmas in 1991.<\/p>\n

#65: Various Artists \u2013 Poplife<\/em>
\niTunes stats: 160 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 76<\/a><\/p>\n

Ten different tracks, from artists like Crash Test Dummies, Meredith Brooks, and Fine Young Cannibals, from this compilation album added 76 new listens.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>#64: Pearl Jam \u2013 Vs.<\/em>
\niTunes stats: 161 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 57<\/a><\/p>\n

Pearl Jam\u2019s second album, which I purchased as a 1993 midnight release at the record store in Purdue West whose name escapes me, increased the plays for its seven tunes in my collection by 52%.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>#62: Garbage \u2013 Not Your Kind of People
\n<\/em>iTunes stats: 163 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 59<\/a><\/p>\n

The group’s fifth studio album, released in 2012, dropped three spots on the chart while picking up 60 new listens over the past four years.<\/p>\n

#62: Sam Kinison \u2013 Have You Seen Me Lately?<\/em>
\niTunes stats: 163 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 68<\/a><\/p>\n

The seminal 1988 comedy album from Sam Kinison uses his standup routine and a twisted remake of Wild Thing<\/em> to notch an additional 68 plays.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>#61: Foo Fighters \u2013 Skin and Bones
\n<\/em>iTunes stats: 164 plays
\nPrevious Ranking: 45<\/a><\/p>\n
