\"\"<\/a>Way back in December of\u00a02011<\/a>\u00a0(and again every other December since), we’ve taken a look at the authors I have read the most, dating back to high school.\u00a0 This year, since I’ve far surpassed my reading output of any year on record, I thought it would be nice to take a deeper dive into those books I’ve read through August. Since our last check-in, I\u2019ve read an additional 60 books from 54 different authors. There shouldn\u2019t be much movement over the past 2 years, but it\u2019s time to take another look and see if my \u201cfavorite\u201d authors have changed much in that time span.\u00a0 We continue today with the 12 authors I’ve read thrice.<\/p>\n

The former comedian and current right wing lugnut managed to get me to read three of his podcast regurgitations.<\/p>\n

Bill Carter<\/strong><\/p>\n

The former media reporter for the New York Times delivered three behind the scenes looks at the television industry, including the transition from Johnny Carson to Jay Leno and from Jay Leno to Conan O’Brien and back again.<\/p>\n

Max Allan Collins<\/strong><\/p>\n

Author of all entries of the Reeder and Rogers trilogy.<\/p>\n

The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins<\/p><\/div>\n

Suzanne Collins<\/strong><\/p>\n

The woman behind a little trilogy about a young woman who upends her entire world.<\/p>\n

Keith R.A. DeCandido<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em> novels and a Spider-Man novel make up his works.<\/p>\n

David Lagercrantz<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest – Stieg Larsson<\/p><\/div>\n

Stieg Larsson<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stieg Larsson wrote the first three entries in the story of Lisbeth Salander.\u00a0 Following his death, David Lagercrantz continued the series with three entries (to date) of his own.<\/p>\n

John R. Maxim<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last read in 2001, I would have liked to read more but it seems like he stopped writing.\u00a0 Or they stopped publishing his work.<\/p>\n

Kimberly McCreight<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her latest came out earlier this year, so she should be moving up the charts.<\/p>\n

Tom Perotta<\/strong><\/p>\n

All three of his works that I’ve read have been translated to film or tv.<\/p>\n

Timothy Zahn<\/strong><\/p>\n
