It has been a few years now since I’ve watched anything on FOX.\u00a0 This year’s schedule does not look like it will alter that any come this fall.\u00a0\u00a0Monday starts off with the returning\u00a09-1-1<\/em> followed by The Big Leap<\/em>, revolving around a group of diverse, down-on-their-luck characters attempting to change their lives by participating in a potentially life-ruining reality dance show that builds to a live production of Swan Lake<\/em>.\u00a0 Tuesday kicks off with the returning The Resident<\/em> acting as the lead in for Our Kind Of People<\/em>, inspired by Lawrence Otis Graham\u2019s provocative, critically acclaimed book of the same name.<\/p>\n

The Masked Singer<\/em>\u00a0leads off Wednesday nights, followed by yet another singing competition called Alter Ego<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0Thursdays get turned over to the NFL starting in October, while Friday is the domain of the WWE.\u00a0 Sunday\u2019s animated block remains the same, with The Simpsons<\/em>, The Great North<\/em>, Bob’s Burgers<\/em>, and Family Guy<\/em> wrapping things up following football.<\/p>\n

On tap for midseason is\u00a0The Cleaning Lady<\/em>, about a whip-smart Cambodian doctor who comes to the US for a medical treatment to save her ailing son, Monarch<\/em>, about the first family of country music, Welcome To Flatch<\/em>, a comedy Inspired by BBC Studios\u2019 BAFTA-winning This Country<\/em>, Pivoting<\/em>, starring Eliza Coupe, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Maggie Q as three close-knit childhood friends as they cope with the death of the fourth member of their group.\u00a0 Returning shows planned for mideason include\u00a0\u00a09-1-1: Lone Star<\/em>,\u00a0Call Me Kat<\/em>, Duncanville<\/em>, Housebroken<\/em>, Beat Shazam<\/em>, Crime Scene Kitchen<\/em>, Domino Masters<\/em>, Don\u2019t Forget the Lyrics<\/em>, Hell\u2019s Kitchen<\/em>, I Can See Your Voice<\/em>, Lego Masters<\/em>, Master Chef<\/em>, Mental Samurai<\/em>, and Next Level Chef<\/em>.<\/p>\n
