\"\"<\/a>Yesterday, the CW became the first network to release their plans for the 2020-2021 season, announcing that they would return with a full slate of new programming in January due to shutdowns from the corona virus.\u00a0 The late start will not impact the number of episodes, with series still producing seasons of 13 to 22 episodes, depending on the show.\u00a0 That will stretch the season in to July or August, leading to a very short summer break before the 2021 fall season starts in October.\u00a0 The final episodes from some shows\u2019 current seasons, which could not finish filming because of the pandemic, will be included in their next seasons.<\/p>\n

Monday stays the same, with All American<\/em> followed by Black Lightning<\/em>.\u00a0 Tuesday kicks off with The\u00a0Flash<\/em>, followed by the latest installment of the Arrowverse, Superman & Lois<\/em>.\u00a0 Riverdale<\/em>\u00a0and Nancy Drew<\/em> continue to hold down the fort on Wednesdays.<\/p>\n

While Supernatural<\/em>\u00a0may finally be over, Jared Padalecki returns to Thursdays in Walker<\/em>, a re-imaging of Walker, Texas Ranger<\/em>.\u00a0 The night wraps up with\u00a0Legacies<\/em>.\u00a0 Friday goes all reality, with Penn & Teller: Fool Us<\/em> followed by back-to-back episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway?<\/em>\u00a0 The Sunday night offerings are Batwoman<\/em>\u00a0and the new version of Charmed<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The network is\u00a0planning a smaller version\u00a0of its traditional Arrowverse crossover to air either late 1st quarter or early in the 2nd quarter of 2021.<\/p>\n

To accommodate Melissa Benoist’s pregnancy, Supergirl<\/em> gets bumped to mid-season.\u00a0 Joining it are\u00a0Dynasty<\/em>, Roswell, New Mexico<\/em>, In the Dark<\/em>, and\u00a0DC\u2019s Legends of Tomorrow<\/em>, alongside two new series: Kung Fu<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Republic of Sarah<\/em>.\u00a0 Supernatural<\/em>, which still had two episodes to film in its final season before the shutdown, will air its final seven episodes in the fall, alongside some usual summer and\/or streaming fare.<\/p>\n
