{"id":16131,"date":"2020-08-31T06:40:08","date_gmt":"2020-08-31T12:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/?p=16131"},"modified":"2020-07-14T18:53:00","modified_gmt":"2020-07-15T00:53:00","slug":"you-ought-to-be-in-15-pictures-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/2020\/08\/you-ought-to-be-in-15-pictures-3\/","title":{"rendered":"You Ought To Be In (15) Pictures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6131\" src=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg\" alt=\"Movie_Reel_22\" width=\"314\" height=\"175\" srcset=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22.jpg 314w, http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Movie_Reel_22-300x167.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many years ago, using the weekly TV guide that came with the Sunday Chicago Tribune, I started keeping track of all of the movies I had seen over the course of my lifetime. \u00a0The guide would list the two main stars for each movie, and that is a tradition that I&#8217;ve carried on in my database ever since. \u00a0So, given those guidelines, and thanks to a corona virus inspired uptick to my movie watching this year, it is time to look at the 100 actors that have starred in at least 10 films that I have seen, as of July 1.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we continue with the 9 actors that have starred in 15 movies that I have seen, an increase of 4 at this level from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/learningturkey.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/you-ought-to-be-in-15-pictures-2\/\">3 years ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anne Hathaway<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Like most of America, I first saw Anne Hathaway on the silver screen back in 2003 in\u00a0<em>The Princess Diaries<\/em>. \u00a0In the intervening 11 years, she has been a steadfast presence on my movie (or television) screen, including 3 films in 2005 and 4 in 2009.\u00a0 She&#8217;s moved up 2 spots in the past 3 years,\u00a0with her latest appearance being 2019&#8217;s <em>The Hustle<\/em>, which I saw earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Angelina Jolie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Her last appearance on my screen is still in 2012, when I saw her in <em>Changeling<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve Martin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The last starring role of his that I saw remains 2005&#8217;s <em>Shopgirl<\/em>, which I saw in 2009.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brad Pitt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 1994, I saw a little film called\u00a0<em>Kalifornia<\/em>, which introduced me to Brad Pitt. \u00a0While he would become a mega-star over the next few years, I was a bit of a late comer to his films. \u00a0Other than watching\u00a0<em>A River Runs Through It<\/em>\u00a0in 1997 during the Sports in Literature class I took during my last semester of college, it was 2000 before I saw another Pitt film. \u00a0Making up for lost time, I plowed through 3 films in 2000.\u00a0 He had a 4 year streak between in 2010 and 2013, then entered a dry spell that ended this year, when I saw him in both <em>Once Upon A Time&#8230;
