7:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Conners<\/em>\u00a0– Following last spring’s Twitter meltdown by Roseanne Barr and the cancellation of the reboot of Roseanne<\/em>, the show moves on without her.\u00a0 Will it be worth watching?\u00a0 I’m honestly not sure.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You know, if this were a new show debuting in the here and now, I’m not sure I’d be watching.<\/p>\n

The Flash<\/em> – The gang returns for the fifth season.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bringing Jessica Kennedy Parker onboard has given Barry and Iris a child without the problems that usually entails.<\/p>\n

The Gifted<\/em> – The series about Marvel’s mutants returns for a second season.\u00a0 I still need to finish the first.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, I don’t know if or when I’ll get back to this.<\/p>\n

8:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

Black-ish<\/em> – For its fifth season, the show moves on without creator Kenya Barris.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The show is hanging on, but is starting to show signs of wear.<\/p>\n

FBI<\/em> – Missy Peregrym and Jeremy Sisto are FBI agents trying to keep New York safe.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I made it through a couple of episodes, but I didn’t see anything special here.<\/p>\n

This Is Us<\/em>\u00a0– The emotionally manipulative hit is back for a third season, assuming I ever go back and finish the previous one.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I still need to catch up on this one.<\/p>\n

Black Lightning<\/em> – The Pierce family returns for their second season, which I will be happy to watch once I get done with season one.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This one too<\/p>\n

8:30<\/strong><\/p>\n

Splitting Up Together<\/em> – After a successful run last spring, the show, starring Oliver Hudson and Jenna Fischer, returns for another go-around.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It is amusing, mostly due to Fischer, but nothing particularly special.<\/p>\n

9:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Rookie<\/em> – Castle<\/em> alum Nathan Fillion re-teams with his former EP for this tale about the oldest rookie police officer in the LAPD.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I haven’t gotten around to watching this yet, but the episodes are piling up on the DVR.<\/p>\n

Now for some new entries coming this spring:<\/p>\n

Roswell, New Mexico<\/em> – The CW brings back another reboot of a WB show, making Liz and the aliens adults this time around.\u00a0 I watched the first episode and didn’t see much of a need to continue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
