100 artists in my iTunes library.\u00a0 Since that time, I\u2019ve successfully managed to migrate my music collection to a new PC with the stats intact.\u00a0 So, I figured it was time to take another look, expanding out the field to the top 200 artists, based on number of plays from late 2007 through January 1, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>We continue our march up through the the top 100 with this next batch of artists, which includes:<\/p>\n<p>#88:\u00a0Soul Asylum<br \/>\niTunes stats:\u00a054\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: #70<\/p>\n<p>20 new listens for the Minneapolis-based band causes them to drop 18 spots in the rankings.<\/p>\n<p>#88: John Morris<br \/>\niTunes stats:\u00a054\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: N\/A<\/p>\n<p>The composer of the score from the best movie ever made, <em>Clue: The Movie<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>#88:\u00a0Artie Lange<br \/>\niTunes stats: 54\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: #76<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0comedy stylings of Arthur Lange drop 12 spots despite 23 new listens in the past 3 years.<\/p>\n<p>#84:\u00a0The Cranberries<br \/>\niTunes stats:\u00a056\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: #80<\/p>\n<p>A small 4 spot drop for the Irish band, who picked up 26 new listens to their 8 tracks over the last 3 years.<\/p>\n<p>#84: The Beastie Boys<br \/>\niTunes stats: 56\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: #91<\/p>\n<p>30 new listens in the last 3 years bumps the Beastie Boys up 7 spots in the rankings.<\/p>\n<p>#84: Gin Blossoms<br \/>\niTunes stats:\u00a056\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: #63<\/p>\n<p>25 years after the release of their debut album, the Arizona group drops 21 spots due to a small increase of 18 listens over the past 3 years.<\/p>\n<p>#84:\u00a0Christina Aguilera<br \/>\n<!--more-->iTunes stats:\u00a056\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: N\/A<\/p>\n<p>A high debut for the <em>Voice<\/em> star, thanks, I think, due to the inclusion of <em>Lady Marmalade<\/em> to her total, where previously it was not.<\/p>\n<p>#81:\u00a0Sheryl Crow<br \/>\niTunes stats:\u00a057\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: N\/A<\/p>\n<p>A strong debut for the former backup singer for Michael Jackson.<\/p>\n<p>#81:\u00a0Frank Sinatra<br \/>\niTunes stats: 57\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking: N\/A<\/p>\n<p>The crooner from New Jersey and the leader of the Rat Pack makes his debut thanks mostly to the arrival of Todd Frazier on the White Sox, who uses Sinatra tunes as his at bat music.<\/p>\n<p>#81:\u00a0Fiona Apple<br \/>\niTunes stats: 57\u00a0plays<br \/>\nPrevious ranking:
